Bienvenue sur le site internet de l'association VCCA-France. Cette association type loi 1901 gère le Moulin à Nef, résidence d'artistes au Port, à Auvillar ( Tarn et Garonne ). De mai à octobre, le Moulin à Nef accueille plusieurs artistes américains, écrivains, peintres, photographes, sculpteurs, cinéastes, musiciens, céramistes, par groupes de trois ou quatre. Chaque groupe demeure environ quatre semaines à Auvillar, et travaille en ce lieu calme et relaxant. Des petites expositions de leur travaux peuvent être organisées en fin de période selon les circonstances, et le public est invité à venir découvrir ces artistes et discuter avec eux.
Jeannette Macdougall est artiste résidente au Moulin à Nef, et a en charge toute l'intendance des ateliers, et aussi d'assurer le bon déroulement des stages. Elle est donc la personne intermédiaire entre le VCCA Virginie, les artistes et les habitants du village.
Welcome to the internet site of the association VCCA-France. This association (loi 1901) manages the artists’ residencies at the Moulin à Nef studio center in Auvillar (Tarn et Garonne). From May to October, the Moulin à Nef welcomes many artists through the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA), the artists’ community in Virginia, USA: writers, painters, photographers, sculptors, filmmakers, musicians, and ceramists, in groups of three or four at a time.
Each group stays from two to four weeks in Auvillar, and works in this calm and relaxing environment. Brief exhibitions of their works are often presented at the end of the residency period.
The public is invited to come meet these artists and to discover and discuss their work.
Jeannette MacDougall is the resident director of the Moulin à Nef. She manages the studio center and assures its smooth operation. She is, therefore, the intermediary between the VCCA in Virginia, the artists, and the inhabitants of Auvillar.
